As a trained violin maker, Ann has developed the skills useful for working with different species of woods. Her creative and artistic abilities have been useful in choosing fittings compatible with the colors and types of materials used in turning pens.

Several types of fittings are available for custom orders: Enamel with chrome, Enamel with Rhodium, Enamel 24k gold, Gunmetal and 24K gold, and Gunmetal and chrome.
