Bow & String Instrument Sales, Repairs & Rehairs
Located in Cleveland’s historic Little Italy, Rodney is just a short walk from the Cleveland Institute of Music, Cleveland Music School Settlement and Severance Hall. Rodney shares shop space with luthier and restorer Terry Carlin. Carlin Violins and Rodney D. Mohr are housed on the second floor of the historic Murray Hill School, built in 1906. Surrounded by other artists including photographers, painters, architects and boutiques, this too is an inspiring location to work.
At Carlin Violins, Terry provides string instrument rentals, sales, accessories and repairs while Rodney provides bow rehairing, repairs and bow sales. Both Rodney and Terry service string musicians from all over Northern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania including the Cleveland Orchestra, Institute students, area musicians and visiting performers.
Rodney’s services are available every Tuesday from 10:00am to 4:30pm.
