Special Orders

We require a 20% non-refundable deposit on all Special Orders. Should a Client request gold mountings, a price quote will be given stating current market value for gold. Prices will be agreed upon by Mohr & Mohr and the Client and included in the Approval Contract.

Approval Agreement

Mohr & Mohr is pleased to allow our clients to view and play one of our bows in a familiar environment. We charge no fee for this trial period; however the client is responsible for all shipping costs via Next-day Overnight Service. Once we have discussed the client's playing preferences, we will then recommend a bow from our current selection.

To complete the shipping process we require a valid street address (no P.O. Box numbers), phone number and valid credit card number (including expiration date and 3-digit security code). We ship only to the billing address of the client's credit card to comply with bank security policy.

We allow 7 days for a trial period, from the date the shipment is received by the client.  Please Contact Us to let us know the shipment has arrived. Should the client need additional time, just let us know so that we may adjust the agreement. Should the client need to return the bow for any reason, we require, and the client agrees, to use Next-day Overnight Service.  We would appreciate the client's feedback before returning the item.

If the client should have any questions about shipping, check the Shipping page or Contact Us and we will help. Please ship Monday through Thursday only (noting holidays as well), as it is not good for bows to be sitting in a shipping warehouse.

If a client fails to return a bow by the agreed due date, they are financially responsible for the full value of the item including its case and shipping tube. While title to a bow remains with Mohr & Mohr until a purchase is made, the risk for loss or damage to an item remains with the client while an item is in their care. Although our business insurance will reimburse us for loss or damage, it may hold the client liable in cases of negligence.  All liability will end when Mohr & Mohr receives the items returned in good condition.

Purchase Agreement

The Purchase Agreement and the down payment that accompanies it are specifically intended to guarantee the client's intention of taking delivery and paying in full for the bow. In the event of non-fulfillment of the agreement on the part of the client, Mohr & Mohr reserves the right to retain part or all of the down payment as partial compensation for reselling the item or related damages.

Once the client has made the decision to purchase a bow from Mohr & Mohr, we will supply a "Bill of Sale" which will include purchase price, sales tax if applicable, a total cost and payment terms not to exceed 30 days.

Ownership of the bow will be conveyed through a Certificate of Authenticity (if applicable), and an Insurance Appraisal (which will accompany all purchases), when full payment has been received. The client will remain fully responsible for any loss or damage from the time the bow is delivered to them until it is paid in full. We advise clients to obtain their own insurance as soon as a decision has been made.

Should the client default on payment or fail to return the item after the trial period has ended, Mohr & Mohr reserves the right to take immediate possession of the item wherever found, with or without legal process, and sell or otherwise dispose of the item. The client is responsible for any costs associated by the enforcement of these rights. Mohr & Mohr may assess a late fee of up to 1.5% per month on any outstanding balances.

Return Policy

Our goal at Mohr & Mohr is to provide the client with a bow that will ultimately enhance an instrument's tonal qualities. We hope this bow will provide the client with  quality musical experiences that will last a life time. Sometimes a decision made in only a few days may not be quite the right one.  Should the client wish to return their purchase, it may be exchanged for another within 30 days of purchase should one be available. Mohr & Mohr will do its best to make sure the client is satisfied with their purchase. The return policy only applies to purchases of Rodney D. Mohr bows and not antique bows. Any appropriate repairs or related depreciation costs will be deducted from the amount refunded.

Acceptance of Policy

The above stated policies supersede all prior oral or written communications between us and the client. By providing personal information and asking us to ship an instrument, the client has agreed and accepted all terms stated above. Our relationship with the client does not end with a purchase; it is just the beginning. Should the client have any questions or concerns, please contact Mohr & Mohr to discuss them.
